Role Overview

This Engineering Manager role leads the UI/UX team within the Core Platform division to provide a seamless collaboration environment for the Toyota Group. You will define the design philosophy and software architecture while managing a team to deliver high-quality frontend services and reusable components.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the UI/UX design philosophy and software architecture vision
• Manage the engineering team to translate product goals into implementation plans
• Oversee project delivery including schedules resources and budgets
• Maintain organizational health through goal setting and member mentoring
• Manage technical debt to ensure sustainable development speed
• Contribute hands-on to development to understand technical challenges

Requirements Snapshot

• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field
• Seven years of software development experience with three years in management
• Experience building and operating frontend web applications
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools test automation and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with AI agent-based development
