Job Description

Your Responsibilities: Development of control methods for application in power electronics in On-Board Chargers and/or converters; design of needed control loops in power electronics to meet customer and/or platform requirements; definition and specification of needed sensors from system behavior point of view; derivation of domain requirements based on the system concepts for implementation in software and hardware; validation of the control concept on the finished product with measurement; support of projects on questions regarding control/actuation e.g., in the context of problem-solving, requirements assessment and change requests.

Qualifications

Your Profile: Master in Electrical Engineering/cybernetics with focus on power electronics and control theory, PhD is a plus; several years of experience in developing control strategies for automotive power electronics (Inverter, On-Board Chargers, DC/DC); skilled in using CAE-Tools for simulation like Matlab/Simulink, PLECS, LTSpice; deep expertise in linear and non-linear control theory including modeling for control system design; strong understanding of power electronics behavior including the modelling and simulation is mandatory; knowledge of different sensor types about their capability, drawbacks and costs; languages: mandatory fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, German is a plus; mindset: a pragmatic and solution-oriented engineer motivated to shape the future of power electronics in automotive application.
