Senior Project Engineer - Specification & Design (EHV Substations) at Egis Group

The role

This Senior Project Engineer role focuses on developing and shaping future electricity network investment projects across the distribution network. You will lead front-end engineering, feasibility assessments, and optioneering for EHV infrastructure projects ranging from 11kV to 132kV.

What you'll do

• Develop EHV infrastructure projects from early concept to delivery ready status
• Lead feasibility studies and engineering assessments for network reinforcement
• Create technical specifications for substation plant replacement and customer connections
• Produce project scopes and detailed cost estimates for investment justification
• Identify and assess engineering risks and constraints during project development
• Coordinate stakeholder inputs and engineering surveys to support project definition

What you'll bring

• Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Significant experience with EHV substations and electricity network infrastructure
• Detailed knowledge of substation plant operating from 11kV to 132kV
• Understanding of CDM requirements and utility industry engineering standards
• Proven experience in undertaking feasibility studies and project definition activities
