Job Description

About The Role

We're a well-funded, Series A AI company building an intelligent procurement platform for the industrial sector. Our product is used daily by non-technical procurement professionals to make better purchasing decisions, reduce costs, and manage complex supply chains — and AI agents are at the heart of how it works.

We're looking for a Senior or Staff Product Designer to join a small, high-craft design team and define how agentic AI capabilities show up in a complex B2B product. This is a high-impact role: the clarity and trustworthiness of the experiences you design directly determines whether powerful AI features get adopted — and whether customers save real money.

You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and procurement domain experts in our Munich office. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

Define how agentic AI capabilities present throughout the product — from communicating "the agent is working" to surfacing what it found and recommending next steps. Design interaction patterns where AI and human judgment collaborate naturally, building trust with non-technical users in high-stakes workflows. Produce short-horizon vision work (3–6 month outlook) as runnable prototypes and tangible artifacts that guide the product team. Raise the bar for product craft and coherence as engineering velocity and feature output increase. Work directly in code for last-mile polish — checking out PRs and tweaking interactions right before shipping. Translate domain complexity (procurement, supply chain, cost intelligence) into intuitive, usable experiences.

What We're Looking For

Required

Senior-level product designer with a strong portfolio of shipped product work — ideally in B2B SaaS, complex workflows, or data-heavy products. Broad, "block-shaped" design capabilities spanning visual design, interaction design, product thinking, and prototyping — not a single-specialty practitioner. Proven ability to prototype beyond Figma: you can build runnable prototypes that communicate intent and behavior to engineers and stakeholders. Ability to work directly in code for last-mile polish (checking out PRs, tweaking interactions pre-ship) — this is a hard requirement. Thoughtful, well-formed opinions on how AI should appear in products — with a focus on trust, transparency, and appropriate automation. Comfort operating with ambiguity and inventing new patterns for genuinely novel problems. Regular hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) in your research, ideation, and prototyping workflow.

Nice to Have

Experience designing for non-technical users in complex B2B or industrial domains. Prior work on agentic or autonomous AI features in a product context. Familiarity with procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing workflows.

Location

This role is based on-site in Munich, Germany. Remote work is not available for this position. Visa sponsorship is not offered.
