Senior Product Designer, Verifications at Checkr

The role

Checkr is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design of verification products, focusing on drug and occupational health testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive workflows for complex, high-trust domains while balancing user needs and operational realities.

What you'll do

• Own the design lifecycle for verification products from discovery through launch and iteration
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define problems and shape product roadmaps
• Simplify complex workflows like document collection and appointment scheduling into user-friendly experiences
• Utilize AI-assisted design tools to rapidly prototype and implement UI changes in code
• Conduct qualitative research and analyze product data to refine design solutions

What you'll bring

• At least five to eight years of professional product design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking and the ability to ship high-quality work
• Proven ability to distill complex domains and edge cases into simple flows
• Experience planning and executing independent research and usability testing
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with a focus on accessibility
