Senior/ Lead Designer - XC-CP Mechanics

Role Overview

This role involves leading New Product Development activities and independently managing design requirements for various engineering components. The candidate will oversee the full design lifecycle from initial concept generation to final 3D modeling and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle design activities and requirements independently for new product development
• Perform detailed design calculations and tolerance analysis for all components
• Manage parts and assemblies within Teamcenter and SAP systems
• Create base designs and variants while evaluating multiple concepts
• Develop 3D parts and technical drawings based on specific customer inputs
• Conduct feasibility studies and perform design analysis for product enclosures

Requirements Snapshot

• Bachelor of Technology degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Six to ten years of professional experience in product design
• Proficiency in UG NX CAD software and PDM link tools
• Knowledge of plastic sheet metal and diecast component design
• Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical problem solving skills
