RR Donnelley is adding a Senior Designer to their Presentation Design team supporting an Investment Banking Client in New York City! 

This role is responsible for creating, designing, and elevating best-in-class pitchbooks, infographics, and PowerPoint presentations for high profile clients. This position will confer with the client, review instructions or customer requirements and perform a variety of projects including, custom templates, page layouts or inserts, color corrections, or technical illustrations via Photoshop, Illustrator or AI software. This position may also develop and maintain relationships with key clients, providing excellent customer service and giving clear communication of client expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and elevate best-in-class pitchbooks, infographics, and PPT presentations for high-profile clients.

  • Utilize a wide range of application software ( i.e. Adobe and Office Suites) at an advanced level to produce the optimal product for the client.

  • Analyze and solve problems related to customer supplied files, images or instructions / queries.

  • Up to date in most recent financial design trends.

  • Serve as a direct liaison to the client, ensuring timely and accurate production of the client's job and discussing the project directly with the client. 

  • May supervise or lead the implementation of various projects, including planning and scheduling while interacting with the client as well as the project management team.

  • Work under minimal supervision, regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment involving complex tasks.

  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience required.

    • Must have portfolio of work to share featuring relevant design work and experience. Would prefer to see work in the financial or technology sectors and pitchbook design.

  • Must be able to elevate design across an array of styles/brands/brand guidelines.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively to the team and across departments when completing assignments.

  • Must have proven technical and process knowledge of Adobe Suite as well as PowerPoint.

  • Must have strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustment to meet business needs.

  • Experience with design in the financial sector is preferred.

 

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $91,800 to $146,800 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD’s benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
