Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Designer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing the software that controls complex high-tech machines.Design and develop machine control software using Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 and/or Siemens PLC.Develop higher-level software components using C++ and/or C#.Translate system requirements into robust software designs and technical solutions.Design and implement software for complex machine control systems.Act as the technical bridge between machine control, software engineering and system architecture.Contribute to both greenfield developments and existing software platforms.Support integration, testing and commissioning of advanced semiconductor equipment.Work closely with software, electronics, mechanics and systems engineers in multidisciplinary Scrum teams.Take ownership of modules and continuously improve software quality and maintainability.

Your ProfileBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.Approximately 5-10+ years of experience in high-tech machine building or industrial automation.Strong experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 and/or Siemens PLC.Experience developing software in C++ and/or C#.Experience designing software for complex machines or production equipment.Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and software architecture principles.Experience translating customer or system requirements into software designs.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Familiar with Git, Azure DevOps or similar version control systems.Nice to havePythonTwinCAT SafetyIndustrial robotics (e.g. KUKA)JavaSemiconductor equipment experiencePersonal SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Comfortable challenging unclear requirements and proposing improvements.Able to bridge machine control and software engineering.Hands-on, proactive and quality-driven.Strong communicator and team player.Can't tick every box, but do you recognize yourself in this role?
