The role

The Designer Beckhoff PLC SW defines and maintains software for monitoring the Beam Transport System and Final Focus Unit within EUV Source products. This senior role involves working in multidisciplinary teams to develop safety components and automatic testing solutions for high-tech electrical connectivity.

What you'll do

• Act as the electronic development representative in multidisciplinary design teams
• Define and maintain specifications for software safety components and designs
• Perform trade-off studies to determine implementation scenarios for new functions
• Create work breakdowns and effort estimations for software development tasks
• Solve integration problems and transfer knowledge to production and service engineers
• Design automatic testing solutions to integrate developed code into systems

What you'll bring

• Master degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent field
• Extensive experience with Beckhoff PLC software and TwinCAT3
• Proficiency in PLC applications including Soft-PLC and Safety-PLC
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages like Python or C++
• Experience with automatic test equipment and safety interlock systems
