THIS OPPORTUNITY:

Egis BLN USA, LLC is seeking applicants for a Senior Project Manager and Drainage Engineering Lead position in our Indianapolis Office. The primary duties of this position will include development, design, and management of stormwater and transportation engineering design projects in Indiana and management/administration of INDOT or Local Agency road projects.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead drainage design, modeling, CSGP plans and permits for a variety of road projects.

· Experience in the design of small structures, culvert projects, and stormwater design for a variety of transportation projects.

· Leadership of design engineering team and management of engineering activities on project in the Indianapolis Office

· Management and administration of INDOT and Local Agency road projects.

· Organization and coordination of project meetings with team members and various project stakeholders.

· Recruitment and mentoring of design staff.

· Daily oversight of engineering team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work product, and assisting in generating performance appraisals.

· Resolution of complex technical and/or contractual project related issues.

· Assisting senior management staff with identifying and pursuing construction engineering opportunities.

· Assisting senior management staff with implementation of client development and marketing strategies among existing and prospective clients, as required.

· Developing and monitoring project budgets, including regular reporting to senior management staff.

· Monitor subconsultant progress and performance, including review and approval of vendor invoices.

· Provide Quality Control or Quality Assurance on project as needed.

· Successful production and productivity will lead to management track

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.

· Licensed P.E. in Indiana and the ability to obtain licensure in other states as required.

· 8+ years of MDOT construction project management experience.

· Experienced in leading a team of construction inspection and administrative personnel.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· Familiar with MDOT project administration and documentation requirements.

· Proficient with use of OpenRoads and ProjectWise software.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Highly organized, motivated and self-starting, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
