The role

Larian Studios is seeking an RPG Designer to join their worldbuilding team. This role involves crafting compelling game worlds, stories, and characters, transforming narrative into engaging gameplay that reacts to player actions. The designer will own specific game areas from conception through implementation, ensuring high quality and player satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Design and own narrative and gameplay content within a specific game area, ensuring its final quality.
• Ensure logical and well-paced narrative flow across situations, dialogues, and areas.
• Develop and implement solutions for quest design challenges.
• Conduct progress reviews, gather feedback from other departments, and collaborate to achieve optimal results.
• Write and update documentation, communicating changes effectively to the team.
• Adopt a holistic approach to changes, considering the impact on and priorities of various departments.
