About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced UX Researcher specializing in Employee Experience to join our team at the Frankfurt location. In this role, you will be instrumental in understanding and improving the work environment, services, and processes that impact our employees daily. Your insights will drive strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall experience. You will employ a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, workshops, surveys, and data analysis, to uncover needs and pain points. Your work will directly influence the design and optimization of internal platforms, onboarding processes, workspace management systems, and other employee-centric services.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with service designers, product managers, and support teams to develop actionable insights and measurable KPIs. Your expertise will help translate complex data into understandable reports, personas, and experience maps, empowering stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions. Additionally, you will experiment with modern prototyping tools and AI technologies to validate concepts and improve research efficiency, always ensuring compliance with data privacy standards. Your role is vital in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within our organization.
Qualifications
A degree or relevant qualification in User or Employee Research, Psychology, Social Sciences, Economics, UX, Service Design, or a related field.Several years of professional experience in user or employee research, preferably within organizational, HR, or transformation contexts.Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with the ability to combine insights effectively.Strong understanding of KPIs, measurement systems, and experience metrics.Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to structure, synthesize, and communicate complex data and research findings clearly.High levels of empathy and an understanding of organizational dynamics, with practical experience in agile environments and complex organizational structures.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of advising diverse stakeholders and senior decision-makers.Structured, autonomous, and impact-oriented working style.Openness to cultural diversity and experience working in international settings.Fluent in both German and English, in spoken and written form.
Responsibilities
Focus on Employee Experience by identifying and addressing the needs related to work environment, services, and daily processes.Conduct comprehensive research on employee journeys, services, products, and workspace environments using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods.Evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding processes, employee portals, room booking systems, and building management solutions, identifying areas for improvement and impact.Design and execute interviews, tests, workshops, surveys, and experience metrics to gather deep insights into employee needs and perceptions.Create prototypes of varying fidelity (e.g., Figma) to test hypotheses, validate concepts, and make research findings tangible and actionable.Utilize modern tools and AI responsibly, including transcription services, AI copilots, synthetic test groups, and rapid prototyping to enhance research outcomes.Ensure data privacy and compliance are maintained throughout all research activities.Develop clear and engaging research reports, personas, and experience maps to communicate findings effectively.Present insights to stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Define relevant KPIs and collaborate with service designers, product teams, and support staff to gather robust data supporting employee experience initiatives.
