UX/UI Consultant | B2B Contract | Remote | 2 Month Initial Contract (Extension highly likely)

We are hiring 2x UX/UI Consultants for a global loyalty & rewards organisation, part of a major international travel group. This is an initial 2 month contract with a realistic expectation of extension beyond that, though how long is not confirmed at this stage.

ABOUT THE ROLEOur client is looking for two UX/UI Consultants to join a busy programme of customer-facing digital work. There is no dedicated User Research function in place, so you will need to contribute directly to user planning and discovery activities alongside your design work, not just execute someone else's research.You will need a genuinely balanced UX and UI skillset: comfortable moving from research-informed design decisions through to polished, on-brand visual execution, and confident enough to hold your own in stakeholder workshops.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON✅ Homepage redesign✅ Navigation improvements✅ Black Friday preparation, including banners and promotional content✅ Supporting preparation for a US market launch / expansion

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING✅ Operating across a balanced 50/50 UX and UI workload✅ Translating customer and business requirements into effective, considered designs✅ Creating user flows and plans, and facilitating workshops✅ Engaging confidently with stakeholders and holding your own in workshop settings✅ Collaborating directly with developers (React front end) and QA teams through to implementation✅ Contributing to user planning and discovery activities in the absence of a dedicated research team✅ Working within, and helping evolve, an existing design system that is in place but not yet fully mature

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR🔹 Strong B2C experience (essential)🔹 A balanced 50/50 UX and UI skillset🔹 Experience translating customer and business requirements into effective designs🔹 Experience working within product environments🔹 Ability to create user flows/plans and facilitate workshops🔹 Confidence to engage stakeholders and hold your own in workshops🔹 Experience collaborating directly with developers and QA teams🔹 Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools

NICE TO HAVE🔹 E-commerce experience (considered highly relevant)🔹 Airline or travel industry experience (a bonus, not required)🔹 Willingness to attend the Birmingham office occasionally

SENIORITYJunior-level candidates are welcome to apply provided they are self-sufficient and would not need significant upskilling. As a guide, this means roughly 2+ years' experience, a solid grasp of UX/UI fundamentals, prior product environment experience, and strong design skills in their own right.
