Senior Product Designer at Polarsteps

The role

Polarsteps is seeking a seasoned Product Designer to lead the Digital Relive team in Amsterdam. You will focus on creating innovative ways for over 22 million users to track and relive their travel experiences through high-quality visual and motion design.

What you'll do

• Lead the design lifecycle for shareable trip formats from concepting to prototyping.
• Develop new visual and motion languages for digital artifacts like Trip Reels and Map Videos.
• Iterate on designs using feedback from reviews, user testing, and engagement data.
• Own the design direction for your product pillar while collaborating across the team.
• Translate motion and visual concepts into precise technical requirements for developers.
• Ensure every feature is built to perfection down to the last frame and pixel.

What you'll bring

• Five or more years of experience designing visually-driven digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating excellence in typography, motion, layout, and storytelling.
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools like Principle or Protopie.
• Hands-on experience with motion and video tools like After Effects and Premiere.
• Experience designing for native mobile apps within an agile environment.
