Senior Product Designer - Finance and Reporting

You will own the end-to-end design process for finance dashboards and reporting features, working closely with product, engineering, and research teams in a highly collaborative and remote-first environment. The position requires a strong balance of systems thinking, data visualization expertise, and user-centric design excellence. Accountabilities

Lead the end-to-end design process for finance dashboards and reporting features, from discovery and research to prototyping, testing, and final delivery.Translate complex financial and operational requirements into clear, intuitive, and user-centered design solutions.Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points in financial workflows.Design advanced data visualizations and reporting interfaces that simplify complex datasets into actionable insights.Create user journeys, service blueprints, and system maps to structure and clarify financial processes such as trust accounting.Develop interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs, iterating based on user feedback and usability testing.Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of designs.Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and high-quality user experience across products.Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to align stakeholders, generate ideas, and support decision-making.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in product design, ideally within a B2B SaaS or data-heavy product environment.Strong experience designing financial dashboards, reporting tools, or complex data visualization interfaces.Deep understanding of the full design thinking process, including research, ideation, prototyping, and delivery.Strong skills in user research, storytelling, journey mapping, and service blueprinting.Excellent visual and UI design skills with strong attention to hierarchy, clarity, and data presentation.Advanced proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout and modern design workflows.Familiarity with AI tools for research, ideation, prototyping, and design acceleration.Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple design projects simultaneously.Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across distributed teams.Bonus: experience with vibecoding or design-to-code workflows.
