Senior or Staff Product Designer, Design Systems at Harvey

The role

As a Staff Design Systems Designer, you will define the foundations that make Harveys product coherent, scalable, and trustworthy. You will operate as both a systems thinker and hands-on builder to create a shared language between design, engineering, and AI.

What you'll do

• Define core design system foundations including components and tokens
• Design and ship production-ready system components with frontend engineering
• Establish governance models to balance velocity with system integrity
• Embed accessibility and performance into the system by default
• Document system usage and best practices for product teams
• Advocate for system adoption and consistency across the organization

What you'll bring

• Eight or more years of experience in product design
• Significant ownership of design systems in complex environments
• Deep understanding of component architecture and design tokens
• Proven experience partnering with engineers to ship production systems
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design
