Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer (Growth) based in Germany.

Join a lean, fast-moving product team where design has a direct influence on customer experiences and business growth.

Own product design work across the Growth stream, from early problem framing through build-ready delivery and post-launch iteration.

Turn complex customer journeys into clear, intuitive, and implementation-ready experiences with minimal rework.

Work closely with Product and Engineering to resolve ambiguity early and make thoughtful trade-offs between quality and speed.

Use research, behavioural data, experimentation, and customer evidence to inform design decisions rather than relying on assumptions.

Contribute to a growing Design System while exploring practical ways to use AI to improve design workflows.

Design within a regulated environment where customer comprehension, clarity, and fair treatment are central to the experience.

Accountabilities

Own design initiatives end-to-end within the Growth stream, from early framing and exploration through build-ready delivery and iteration after launch.Produce clear, implementation-ready design deliverables, including user flows, states, edge cases, content considerations, and acceptance criteria.Partner closely with Product and Engineering to clarify requirements, identify risks early, and reduce unnecessary back-and-forth during development.Apply and contribute to the Design System, reusing established patterns and improving them when new product needs arise.Incorporate AI into the design workflow to accelerate exploration and delivery while keeping processes repeatable, transparent, and understandable to the wider team.Participate actively in research and evidence-gathering activities, including concept, usability, and comprehension testing.Translate research findings, product data, behavioural insights, and experiment results into practical design decisions.Design customer journeys within a regulated environment, prioritizing clarity, genuine customer understanding, and fair treatment.Balance design quality, customer needs, technical feasibility, and delivery speed using sound product judgement.Operate with a high level of ownership and autonomy, proactively driving work forward and solving problems at their root.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience designing digital products as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or UX/UI Designer, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex experiences.Strong product design craft across interaction design, systems thinking, user journeys, and digital product experiences.Comfortable conducting and contributing to user research, including planning or supporting concept, usability, and comprehension studies.Data-driven approach to design, with experience using product and behavioural data and experiment results to frame problems, prioritize opportunities, and validate solutions.Strong ownership and autonomy, with the ability to operate effectively as a senior individual contributor in a contractor environment.Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering teams.Pragmatic judgement when balancing speed and quality, with an understanding of where additional design refinement creates the most value.Comfortable working within an established Design System and contributing new patterns and improvements where appropriate.Strong customer-comprehension and fair-treatment mindset, with a focus on ensuring users genuinely understand the experiences they interact with.Experience working in a regulated environment such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, gambling, or utilities is a strong advantage, although equivalent evidence of this mindset from another sector is also relevant.Fluent English at C1 level or above, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with growth experimentation and funnel optimization is a plus.Strong prototyping skills for rapid exploration and validation are beneficial.Experience introducing and operationalizing AI within team workflows beyond individual experimentation is an advantage.Experience in fintech or investing products is a bonus.
