Role Overview

Instacart is seeking a Senior Brand Designer I to join their Marketing team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategy through compelling design across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with a strong understanding of brand application and a passion for innovative design.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product design team to build brand touchpoints within the app.
• Lead the creation of design systems for campaigns and activations.
• Seamlessly collaborate with copywriters to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
• Provide impactful and consistent design support across various media, ensuring alignment with strategic vision and brand guidelines.
• Develop design systems for campaigns and seasonal moments, working with and directing other designers, illustrators, and animators.
• Ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines across all creative outputs.

Requirements Snapshot

• Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field, or a robust portfolio of creative work.
• 5-8+ years of professional experience in brand design.
• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Google Slides.
• Demonstrates core artistic concepts including typography, layout, color theory, and photography.
