Job Description

Product Designer — Bridging Field, Office, and Product

In restoration, the same job data passes through very different hands: someone on-site documenting damage, someone in the office managing the paperwork, someone leading the project and juggling both. They rarely see things the same way — and that's the gap you'll be designing for, on a fast-growing SaaS platform used by field professionals around the world. This role is built around research, not requests. You'll identify what's worth investigating, go run it yourself — onsite, in person — and turn what you learn into something that holds up across every type of user, not a one-off screen.

Location: anywhere in GermanyTravel: light — roughly 1–2 days a month for team days, HQ visits, or customer visitsLanguages: German and English, both C1

Core of the role:You spot problems before they're handed to you, pitch them, and get the green light to investigateYou run the research yourself — scheduling, interviewing, synthesizing — using AI tools to test your thinking early and move faster through the noiseYou prototype fast and rough — often by vibe-coding a version to click through — before anything touches FigmaYou sit inside one cross-functional team day to day (product, engineering, QA, sales, marketing), with the broader design group as where you sharpen your craft and grow

What we're after:3–6 years designing digital productsComfortable putting unfinished work in front of people early, before it feels readyA self-starter on research — you go find the signal, you don't wait for itGenuinely fluent working alongside AI — for research, prototyping, and exploring ideas quickly. We care more about how naturally you use it than one polished AI feature on your résuméSomeone who commits to a single strong recommendation rather than presenting a menu of optionsNice to have: experience designing for conflicting user groups, owning a design system, or shipping prototypes you coded yourself (Cursor, Claude Code, v0, etc.)
