#LiquidExpo is expanding its creative network and looking for an Experimental Film Editor, Motion & Sound Designer to collaborate on upcoming artistic and cultural projects currently in development.
This is not a content creation role.
It is a storytelling role.
We are seeking a rare hybrid profile: part editor, part visual artist, part storyteller, and part sound designer.
Someone capable of transforming complex ideas into emotionally powerful audiovisual experiences.
Applicants must be based in São Paulo, Brazil.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work closely with Carolina Damasceno, Founder & Vision Holder of #LiquidExpo, on narrative-driven audiovisual works exploring culture, memory, technology, identity, impermanence, human behavior, contemporary art and the future of creativity.
Projects may include experimental films, video art, auteur documentaries, fashion films, music-driven visual narratives, audiovisual installations, cultural research and artistic projects connected to the Liquid Art universe.
WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced editor with a strong artistic vision, passionate about storytelling and visual language. You are comfortable working beyond traditional film and advertising structures, able to create atmosphere, rhythm, tension, silence and meaning through editing.
You are curious about contemporary culture, art, philosophy, music, technology and human behavior.
You understand that editing is not simply assembling footage.
It is writing with images, sound, silence and time.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro• Advanced After Effects• Motion Design / Motion Graphics• Sound Design• Audio editing and synchronization• Color grading fundamentals• Strong narrative editing skills• Excellent aesthetic judgment and attention to detail
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with video art, experimental cinema or contemporary art projects• Experience with documentary filmmaking• Experience with immersive installations• Experience with fashion films or music videos• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows• Festival, gallery or museum-related projects

• Editors focused exclusively on social media content, corporate videos or traditional advertising formats• Purely technical operators who execute tasks without contributing creatively
