About The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Associate to join our team at NEW YORKER. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service and personalized shopping experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding products that meet their needs, offering styling advice, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere within the store. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, inventory management, and maintaining the visual presentation of the store according to brand standards. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for fashion and trends.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting products and provide styling advice to enhance their shopping experience.Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer inquiries effectively.Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing in accordance with brand standards.Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory counts.Participate in visual merchandising and promotional displays to attract customers.Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, aiming for satisfactory resolution.Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and store goals.Stay updated on new products, fashion trends, and company policies.
