Freelance Product Designer (AI & Workflow Automation) – Amsterdam
Location: Amsterdam, NL (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)
Rate: €48.89 per hour
Engagement: Freelance Contract, Full-time hours (9 AM – 5 PM with flexible start times)
The Opportunity
When a global technology platform moves millions of people and deliveries daily, real-world friction is inevitable. Traffic happens, payments fail, and systems glitch. We are looking for an elite Freelance Product Designer to join our support experience ecosystem. In this role, you will help design the future of Autonomous Support. You will build the intelligent systems, automated workflows, and operational tools that enable human agents and advanced AI to work together seamlessly—ensuring complex problems are solved in seconds.

What You’ll Be Doing
Mapping Complex Journeys: Design end-to-end agent workflows, decision-making screens, and smart escalation paths. Prototyping & Craft: Translate highly complex, ambiguous concepts into elegant, buildable Figma prototypes. Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate directly with UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to transition designs into functional components. Data-Driven Iteration: Use user data, research insights, and A/B testing results to continuously refine system performance.
What You’ll Bring
Midweight experience designing complex digital products for web and mobile interfaces within tech-driven environments. An exceptional portfolio showcasing deep UX thinking, user flows, and high-fidelity UI execution (applications without portfolios will not be considered). Mastery of Figma and advanced interactive prototyping techniques. Systems Thinking: Experience designing internal tools, SaaS platforms, or B2B workflows is highly preferred. Strong Communication: A track record of articulating design rationale clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
