Motion Designer - Base44

Job Description

As a Motion Designer at Base44, you'll craft compelling visual narratives through motion, built on a strong foundation of design principles. You'll design for motion using composition, typography, and color, ensuring that movement naturally extends the brand’s visual identity and storytelling. In your day-to-day, you will:  

• Develop styleframes and storyboards to establish the creative direction for projects  
• Shape brand aesthetics through motion, ensuring consistency across digital platforms  
• Collaborate with designers, animators, editors, and 3D artists to bring concepts to life  
• Work closely with creatives and marketers to translate ideas into compelling motion visuals  
• Think beyond animation- focus on storytelling, product experience, and visual impact  
• Stay ahead of trends- explore new techniques in motion design, branding, and interactive visuals 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Motion Designer with a strong design-first approach and deep expertise in typography, color theory, and composition, demonstrated through impactful and complex projects.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe applications (like Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects), familiarity with 3D workflows, and an openness to AI-enhanced design tools  
• A sharp eye for aesthetics-able to craft beautiful, effective, and brand-consistent motion work  
• Strong conceptual thinker-capable of ideating, sketching, and designing motion-based storytelling  
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken  
• Proactive and independent-takes initiative, adapts quickly, and leads motion design projects from start to finish
