Design Manager - Health at Turner & Townsend

Job Description

• Lead project outcomes across planning, design development and delivery phases.
• Manage project scope, programme, budget and quality objectives to achieve successful outcomes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership through complex project interfaces, facilitating collaboration and issue resolution.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and ensure requirements are effectively translated into project solutions.
• Oversee design management activities and support the integration of technical, operational and project requirements.
• Drive project governance, risk management and quality assurance processes.
• Monitor project performance and identify opportunities to improve delivery outcomes.
• Support procurement, contractor engagement and commercial management activities as required.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of project deliver

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Construction Management, Project Management, Design Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex building, infrastructure or capital works projects.
• Experience in client-side, consulting or principal contractor environments will be highly regarded.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex project interfaces.
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of project controls, governance and risk management.
• Proven ability to deliver outcomes within time, cost and quality parameters.
• Experience operating at a senior management, Associate Director or Project Director level.
