Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead and coordinate the design management function for a large-scale Commercial and Mixed-Use Development (CSD) project in Jaipur. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end design activities across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialized consultants, ensuring alignment with project requirements, quality standards, timelines, and business objectives.

Candidates with prior experience in Commercial, Hospitality, Mall, Mixed-Use, or large-scale CSD projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall design management process for the project from concept development through construction documentation and execution.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design packages.
  • Review and validate architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design drawings for constructability and compliance.
  • Manage design schedules and monitor design deliverables against project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, statutory regulations, and project specifications.
  • Conduct design review meetings and resolve interdisciplinary design clashes.
  • Collaborate with project execution teams to address site-related design issues.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives while maintaining design intent and quality standards.
  • Manage design changes, approvals, revisions, and documentation control.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior leadership on design-related decisions and project progress.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15-18 years of experience in design management for large-scale commercial, hospitality, retail, or mixed-use developments.
  • Experience in CSD projects will be highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP coordination.
  • Experience managing projects involving hotels, malls, and mixed-use developments.
  • Proficiency in design management processes, project coordination, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other design coordination tools is desirable.

  • 5-Star Hospitality Projects.
  • Shopping Malls and Retail Developments.
  • Mixed-Use Commercial Developments.
  • Experience working with reputed developers, PMC firms, or large EPC organizations.
