Lead Product Designer at Sandbar

The role

Sandbar is seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape the user experience for Stream, a novel conversational interface and voice ring. You will lead design across UI/UX, multimodal interactions, and agentic control while collaborating with engineers and founders.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end product design spanning visual, AI, and interaction design
• Ideate and prototype novel software features for the Stream interface
• Evaluate new features to ensure a high-quality user experience
• Work closely with engineers and product to scope new experiences
• Implement design solutions for multimodal interactions and agentic control
• Design information representation and personality for the conversational computer

What you'll bring

• Experience shipping iOS-based applications is required
• Experience developing design systems spanning multiple platforms
• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for large language models
• Portfolio of prior work is required for consideration
• Experience with novel form factors or non-software design disciplines

Your impact

You will lead the design of a new computer and human-agent interface aimed at augmenting individuals in an agentic world. Your work will touch every aspect of the end-user experience, from multimodal interactions to information representation. You will help bring the Stream voice ring to market, enabling users to think, act, and move freely.
