Job Description

Responsibility:
- Responsible, key contact person for internal and external customers for all gear system-related questions
- Coordination of design and gearbox layout for the e-axle
- Ensuring the targets for the gear system attributes of efficiency, reliability, NVH and weight under consideration of costs
- Technical coordination of transmission suppliers
- Supporting the validation of transmission scopes in coordination with project management
- Responsible for coordinating the interfaces of the scope of delivery (transmission) for the target system (e-axle)
- Approval of construction deviations
- Tracking all TR-relevant changes within the framework of change management
Scope of Work:
1. Change management
- Ensuring the tracking and initiation of changes by the BTV
- Change coordination with the customer
- Distribution of information to the domains
- Support in preparing offerings
- Implementation planning
- Content planning of project system work packages in coordination with specialist functions and monitoring execution
2. Problem solving
- Analysis of anomalies
- Communication of transmission system issues throughout project period
- Definition of project measures and their implementation
- Verification of the measures introduced.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience:

• 7+ years in automotive transmission or e-axle design.

• Experience coordinating design teams and suppliers.

• Proven track record in transmission validation, problem-solving, and change management.

Skills:

• Gear system design with focus on efficiency, NVH, reliability, and weight.

• CAD and gearbox layout expertise.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English for technical discussions and customer interactions.

Preferred:

• Experience in e-mobility or electrified powertrain projects.

Language

• Good command of English in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
