We are looking for a Junior Designer (f/m/d) to support our creative leadership team with design, branding, and communication tasks as we continue to develop our brand image and communication tools. As Junior Designer (f/m/d), you will assist our Design Director with day-to-day visual tasks in a highly dynamic, technology-oriented environment. You will work with classic design tools and modern AI-supported workflows. Your contribution will help to further develop the brand aesthetics of PHENOGY in a consistent, precise, and technologically high-quality manner. You will work on exciting and challenging projects—from corporate design to international trade fair appearances. 

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design & Layout
  • Creation and adaptation of print and digital designs (brochures, presentations, advertisements, posters, trade fair graphics, technical illustrations)
  • Design of icons, infographics, and technical visualizations
• Branding & Corporate Design
  • Implementation of existing PHENOGY CI (logo applications, typography, layout systems, color schemes)
  • Consistent maintenance and creation of brand assets
• Presentations & Communication
  • Design and structural preparation of PowerPoint presentations for Management, Tech Team, and Sales
  • Creation of visual templates for internal communication
• Image Editing & Media Production
  
  • Image retouching, color correction, and clipping
  • Support with AI-assisted image and design processes (e.g., Generative Fill, mockups, renderings)
  • Support with video and animation projects (After Effects/Premiere—basic knowledge sufficient)
  • Management of files, assets, and folder structures
  • Regular collaboration with the Design Director, international marketing, and technical team
  • Working in a company where AI design processes are actively used

Must have's

• Design-Software
  • Adobe Creative Suite at a good level, especially: 
    • Adobe Illustrator (vector illustration, CI graphics)
    • Adobe InDesign (layouts, multi-page documents, brochures)
    • Adobe Photoshop (image editing & compositing)
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially:
    • PowerPoint (layout, master slides, charts)
    • Word (style sheets, reports) 
    • Excel (basic functions, table formatting)
• Understanding of AI & Tech
  • Experience with AI-supported workflows (e.g., generative image models, prompting, AI mockups)
  • Ability to analyze and correct AI results and transfer them into corporate design
• Understanding of Design & Structure
  • Basic understanding of typography
  • Ability to work precisely according to style guides and instructions
  • Clean file handling and structured working methods
• Openness to quickly learning new tools and processes
• Great English language skills in speaking and writing
• Reliable, self-organized, and open to feedback
• Eager to learn, curious, interested in technology
• High accuracy while being speedy and efficient
• Team player and communicative

Nice to have's

• German language skills
• Initial experience with Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of 3D/CGI
• First practical application in AI image generation
• Basic knowledge of energy technology, battery technology, and/or industrial design
