Intern - Visual Design at Picnic Technologies

In a nutshell

As a Visual Designer Intern, you'll join a team of designers, category managers, copy writers and external creatives. Together, we shape Picnic’s private label brand that plays a vital role in our assortment. The deliverables include diverse artwork amends and all types of visuals to support the team evaluating and developing the Picnic private label brand. You think along with the designs by providing feedback and assisting in assessing colour proofs.

Tricks of the trade

Your goal is to reduce the lead time on internal artwork requests.

Update artworks: Update existing private label artworks (e.g. cutter adjustments, design tweaks, range extensions)Mock-up creation: Create digital and physical mock-ups to help the team evaluate design directionsFeedback: Structure (design) feedback from multiple stakeholders and prepare execution of itFile management: Manage final artwork files by structure and archiving themSupport the team and designers: Support the team by assessing artwork proofs and centralizing the latest guideline decisionsCollaborate and learn: Work and learn from experienced designers, photographers and business stakeholders internationally

Your superpowers

You are currently pursuing a study in Desktop publishing, Visual Design, Graphic Design or similar fields Competent with Adobe illustrator and Photoshop You have an affinity with print / packaging Solid portfolio showing a keen eye for detailSelf-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” attitudeEnglish skills on point

💰Attractive package

We offer €800 per month gross salary for a full-time internship as well as 12.5 vacation days per six months, so you can recharge your batteries.
