About the Role
We are looking for a Growth Creative Strategy Lead to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a senior-level position and the ideal candidate will blend creative strategy with data analysis to drive business growth and inspire the creative team.
We believe strategy is a crucial step in developing high-performing creative assets - this role will ensure all creative assets resonate with our target audiences to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) across various growth marketing channels.
The role will start with a focus on the Weight loss category with an oversight on our other categories (Sexual Health and Skin care) ensuring alignment between data, creative and compliance.
You will report to the Creative Director (Growth Marketing) and sit within the Growth Marketing team at Helios X. This role will lead the creative strategy function, alongside the creative execution lead and creative production lead.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking creative strategist with a passion for social media trends, data-driven decision-making and a strong understanding of performance marketing dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Strategic Development
- Oversee the end-to-end creative strategy process for all paid growth marketing channels (social media and display marketing) aligned to channel brief.
- Develop high-impact paid social creative strategy using live data, audience insights and social trends via tooling such as Motion.
- Develop a marketing messaging matrix and calendar for the creative team to align against for key seasonal moments and social trends.
- Link all data and audience insights across the business (brand, compliance and data) to inform concept development in a succinct manner.
- Ensure synergy between channel managers and creative execution. Creative Execution will be owned by the Creative Content Lead who will be responsible for taking the strategy into the creative ideation and final execution stage.
- Monitor the weekly insights and iterations process - keeping track of winning creative week on week and ensuring the creative team have the knowledge and data they need to iterate successfully and maintain performance.
- Foster a "test and learn" culture for all strategic decisions based on insights with a focus on increasing iterations of winning concepts and rapidly scaling successful creative.
- Work closely with the team to ensure content strategies are optimised for performance metrics such as hook rates, engagement, and conversion.
- Lead the creative strategy for Weightloss globally as we expand into new markets with an oversight on sexual health and skin care.
2. Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Optimization
- Use data analytics, user research, and competitor analysis to help refine the creative playbook and improve content performance on paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok).
- Use data and performance insights to inform creative concepts. Analyse campaign results, identify trends, and translate learnings into actionable creative roadmaps.
- Work with the Growth channel managers to evaluate content experiment results, develop new creative hypotheses for testing, identify high-performing assets, and iterate on new creative ideas. Own weekly insights to iterations call output.
- Monitor key performance indicators and report on creative successes and areas for improvement.
3. Team Collaboration
- Lead creative strategy sessions with internal teams (Growth, Paid and Organic Social, Brand, and Creative) to support concept development.
- Review all final assets for strategic alignment and compliance.
- Ensure ideas are transformed into actionable, scalable campaigns that drive HeliosX’s growth across paid social channels.
- Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to align on content strategy, branding, and customer insights.
- You will collaborate closely with other leads - Creative Lead (Growth Marketing) who is responsible for creative ideation, concept development and final execution aligned to the overarching strategy and the Production Lead (Growth Marketing) who will ensure the smooth end-to-end process of strategy to final delivery of assets.
- Other various teams, include Growth marketing managers, Brand, Creative and Clinical teams as well as external agencies, to spearhead content innovation and optimise ad performance across channels such as Meta and TikTok.
4. Who You Are
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a creative marketing role with a proven track record of developing and executing successful creative strategy for growth.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Social Native Expert: Deep understanding with social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and understand how to harness trends to drive performance.
- Technical Fluency: Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms such as motion, A/B testing tools and creative production software is a plus.
- Performance-Driven: Proven track record of optimising content based on key performance metrics such as engagement rates, hook rates, and conversion rates.
- Collaborative Innovator: You enjoy working cross-functionally and leading creative ideation sessions to align content strategies with broader business goals.
