About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Designer – Digital Platform to help create a consistent and scalable digital experience across products and services.The organisation already has a mature design system, but there is still work to be done around design patterns, platform conventions and reusable design guidance. Relevant knowledge is currently distributed across different files, products, historical decisions and subject-matter experts.The successful candidate will bring this distributed knowledge together and create a shared source of truth that makes design standards easier to find, understand and apply.Your RoleAs a Designer – Digital Platform, you will work within a design platform team.Your main responsibility will be to document, structure and standardise reusable design patterns across a complex digital ecosystem.You will organise existing design knowledge so it can be reused by designers, product teams and stakeholders. You will help reduce duplicated discovery work, clarify design decisions and create practical guidance that supports better design outcomes.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate combines systems thinking, structured documentation and strong design skills.You should have:5+ years of experience in UX Design, Design Systems, Service Design or a related discipline.Experience documenting:Design systemsUX patternsInteraction standardsReusable product guidanceStrong systems-thinking skills and the ability to understand relationships across different parts of a digital ecosystem.Experience working with Figma and managing design knowledge across multiple teams.Excellent written communication skills.Ability to turn complex or undocumented knowledge into clear, practical guidance.Experience working with subject-matter experts and extracting knowledge from different sources.A pragmatic approach, balancing quality with delivery.Understanding of accessibility principles and their application to reusable design patterns.Experience working in complex stakeholder environments.Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and help facilitate clear decisions.Strong professional English communication skills.Dutch language skills are an advantage.
