The role

The Designer III leads restoration design production and field activities for stream and wetland projects. This role involves taking ownership of complete design deliverables while coordinating field teams and ensuring technical quality.

What you'll do

• Lead design production for stream and wetland restoration projects
• Coordinate geomorphic and ecological field data collection activities
• Apply hydraulic modeling and hydrologic analysis to design tasks
• Develop and review complete plan sets and technical specifications
• Perform QA/QC on design deliverables to ensure high quality
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design staff

What you'll bring

• Bachelor degree in Natural Science or a related discipline
• Five or more years of experience in restoration design
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and hydrologic calculations
• Experience leading geomorphic and ecological field assessments
• Proven ability to manage complete design plan production
