Job Description

The Creative Operations Specialist is responsible for administering marketing systems, establishing digital asset management standards, and developing workflows that support Marketing and Creative Operations. The role utilizes independent judgment to evaluate business requirements, implement technology solutions, optimize processes, and provide operational recommendations to improve efficiency, compliance, and content management effectiveness.

What You’ll Work On
• Administer and manage content governance and intake processes within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. 
• Develop, maintain, and optimize asset collections and search frameworks to improve asset accessibility, consistency, and utilization. 
• Evaluate marketing content requirements and determine appropriate supporting assets to ensure alignment with campaign objectives, brand standards, and business needs. 
• Review and assess marketing content for alignment with global messaging strategies, brand guidelines, and applicable compliance requirements. 
• Design, develop, and document marketing systems workflows and operational processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness across Marketing and Creative functions. 
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and IT stakeholders to identify business requirements and implement system enhancements and process improvements.
• Evaluate, recommend, implement, and oversee technology solutions that support creative production, asset management, workflow optimization, and operational objectives. 
• Conduct audits of marketing systems, digital assets, and workflow processes; identify risks, compliance gaps, and opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as appropriate. 
• Develop and deliver training programs, best practices, and user adoption strategies related to Marketing Operations and Creative Workflow systems. 
• Analyze system utilization, asset performance, and operational metrics; prepare reports and provide recommendations to Marketing Operations and Creative leadership to support business decisions. 
• Identify operational challenges and opportunities for process improvement; develop and implement solutions that enhance cross-functional collaboration, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness. 
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Digital Asset Management, marketing technologies, and creative workflow processes, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. 
• Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. 
• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures. 
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

What You Contribute
• Bachelor's degree  required with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting executive level staff desired.  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills required. 
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint  
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously.  

Working Conditions
General office environment. This position is designated as fully onsite and requires regular attendance at Penumbra headquarters. Remote work is not available for this role unless approved by the manager. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.

Annual Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
We offer a competitive compensation package plus a benefits and equity program, when applicable.  Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
