About The JobThe IB depends on high-quality, ongoing professional development that provides transformative experiences for international educators. As Learning Designer, you will shape innovative digital learning experiences, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help expand the reach and impact of the IB’s professional learning portfolio for educators worldwide.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with IB educators, learning teams and stakeholders to design engaging professional learning experiences.Design learning journeys across multiple modalities to achieve learning outcomes and enhance participant experience.Develop and revise digital learning content and online courses based on stakeholder feedback.Create and refine digital prototypes, storyboards and learning solutions for review and implementation.Design and develop multimedia learning assets including interactive modules, videos and infographics.Conduct learning design reviews and maintain digital quality standards across products.Research emerging learning design trends, tools and approaches to support innovation.Undertake quality assurance and user experience audits to improve learning products.
QualificationsAdvanced degree in education, learning design, educational sciences or equivalent experience.Minimum three years of experience working with digital content, learning management systems and authoring tools.Experience designing learning experiences for adult learners.Strong knowledge of instructional design best practices and education technologies.Excellent information technology, information management and organisational skills.Collaborative and innovative approach to learning design within a digital environment.Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and perspectives.Project management experience and international education exposure are desirable.
