As an Embedded Software Designer, you develop and test software for high-tech products and machines.
In this role, you support our clients in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industries mainly in the Randstad area with smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays a crucial role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life.

You will dive deep into real-time embedded software, ranging from bare-metal to embedded Linux, and contribute to secure and robust solutions that millions of people rely on every day.
Develop bare-metal embedded software in C and C++Create automated tests in PythonWork with real-time OS like FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Embedded LinuxDesign and implement state machines and real-time logicIntegrate communication protocols such as UART, SPI, CAN, I2CApply Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508, SIL) and MISRA coding guidelinesCollaborate in multidisciplinary teams focused on knowledge sharing and technical excellence

This is what you bring to the table.
A Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer engineering, Embedded Systems, or similar5 year experience Hands-on experience in embedded C/C++ software developmentA strong grasp of real-time systems and safety-critical softwareA passion for code quality, performance, and safetyKnowledge of hardware and communication protocols (UART, SPI, CAN, I2C)Curiosity about new technologies and toolsFluent in English and Dutch
