Wat ga je doen?Little Concepts BV is op zoek naar een enthousiaste fulltime designer voor sieraden, gifts, stationery en haaraccessoires. In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van creatieve en commerciële collecties voor toonaangevende Europese retailers, waaronder Action, Kruidvat, Wibra en Vomar.Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:Het signaleren en vertalen van de nieuwste trends op het gebied van sieraden, gifts, stationery en haaraccessoires voor kinderen, tieners en volwassenen.Het ontwikkelen van vernieuwende collecties die aansluiten op de massamarkt.Het ontwerpen van verpakkingen en displays.Het uitwerken van gedetailleerde werktekeningen in Adobe Illustrator en Photoshop.Het uitvoeren van administratieve werkzaamheden, zoals workflowbeheer en bestandsbeheer.Het onderhouden van contact met collega's in China over jouw designs.Het beoordelen en controleren van binnengekomen samples op ons kantoor in Amsterdam.
Wie ben jij?Je hebt een relevante opleiding afgerond op het gebied van grafisch ontwerp, design of mode op minimaal hbo-niveau. Daarnaast beschik je over minimaal drie jaar aantoonbare en recente werkervaring met het ontwerpen van collecties. Ervaring met sieraden, gifts, stationery en/of haaraccessoires is een pre.Verder:Heb je ervaring met Adobe Illustrator en Photoshop.Ben je creatief, enthousiast en commercieel ingesteld.Ben je trendbewust en volg je de laatste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van lifestyle en retail.Beschik je over sterke sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden.Ben je een proactieve teamspeler die goed kan omgaan met deadlines.Heb je een flexibele instelling en geen negen-tot-vijfmentaliteit.Beheers je zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal goed, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.

What will you do?Little Concepts BV is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Designer to join our team and develop exciting collections across jewelry, gifts, stationery, and hair accessories.As a designer at Little Concepts, you will create creative, trend-driven, and commercially successful collections for leading European retailers, including Action, Kruidvat, Wibra, and Vomar. You will work from the initial concept through to the final product, combining creativity with a strong understanding of the mass market.Your responsibilities will include:Identifying the latest trends in jewelry, gifts, stationery, and hair accessories for children, teens, and adults, and translating these into commercial product concepts.Developing innovative and attractive collections tailored to the mass market.Designing packaging, displays, and other visual product presentations.Creating detailed technical drawings and designs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Managing administrative tasks related to your collections, including workflow, documentation, and file management.Working closely with our colleagues and suppliers in China to communicate and develop your designs.Reviewing, assessing, and checking incoming samples at our office in Amsterdam.Working closely with the wider team to ensure collections meet our creative, commercial, quality, and customer requirements.
Who are you?You are a creative and commercially minded designer who loves turning trends and ideas into products that people want to buy.You have:A completed degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Fashion, or a related field, at a minimum of Dutch HBO/Bachelor level.At least 3 years of recent, demonstrable experience in collection or product design.Experience with jewelry, gifts, stationery, hair accessories, or similar consumer products is a strong plus.Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.A strong sense of trends and an interest in lifestyle, fashion, retail, and consumer products.A creative mindset combined with a practical and commercial approach.Strong communication and social skills.A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.A flexible attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile when needed.A good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
