Job Description

We are looking for a person to join the Design and Technical Services Corporate Team and support the team in everything related to soft refurbishments ongoing, project design and execution objectives of Design & Technical Department. This person will assist in the setup and development of different projects in Europe from office in Madrid. It is a great opportunity to develop project management skills & experience in hospitality projects.

 

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Support area Project Managers and Area Directors on delivering soft refurbishments

- Development of smaller projects by verifying budget, design approval and coordination

- Prepare executive reports of projects with different tools

- Coordinate information coming from hotels

- Support team members with necessary material/feedback

- Punctually support in projects by coordinating information with different stakeholders

- Reporting and coordination with consultants for soft refurbishments

- Deal with different Interior Designers developing projects in EMEA to achieve quality and cost objectives

- Support area office team with daily tasks

- Interpretation of design drawings and specifications for approval

- Prepare Design scope based on Interior Designer feedback

- Assessment of existing FFE condition and operational layout

- Q&A with contractors

- Undertake all CAD drawings

- Ask suppliers for offers

- Follow-up of orders

 

Qualifications

- Degree in architecture, interior design, quantity survey or any other degree related to design and construction

- Must be enrolled in a school program to be eligible for the internship (Traineeship Agreement Required)

- Fluent knowledge of English (C2), verbally and in writing. Written English is at reporting level

- Other languages like German or French are a plus

- Willing to travel to different locations around Europe

- Knowledge of reporting processes and following up processes

- Ability to coordinate with multiple parties, meet conditions of performance and agreements

- Basic knowledge of design and construction processes

- Basic knowledge of construction materials & quality conditions

- Understanding of budgets related to scope of work

- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Products

- Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Work independently and remotely for short periods

- An independent working style

- Preferably previous experience in the hospitality industry.
