WHY WE NEED YOU ?
Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Documentation & Learning team to clarify and elevate the user experience of the Scaleway Console.
Your mission will be to design clear, concise, and consistent content for our Console interface, adopting a content-first approach in product discovery and delivery, in order to improve usability, ensure consistency across products, and scale our documentation practices.
YOUR FUTURE TEAM
We work in a collaborative and international environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together.
You will be part of a team of 7 people composed of Tech Writers, UX Writers.
The team is organized by product expertise (Compute, Network, etc.), and each writer owns a specific domain. You will work in close collaboration with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Developers within product squads to improve Console clarity, align UX and content, and contribute to scalable documentation practices.
YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
- Write and improve in-product content for the Scaleway Console (labels, flows, microcopy, error messages, onboarding content)
- Participate in product squad rituals (weekly meetings, discovery sessions, refinements)
- Contribute to design reviews with a content-first and UX-driven mindset
- Ensure consistency with the style guide and global content standards
- Collaborate closely with Designers, PMs, Developers, and Tech Writers
- Review and refine existing wording to improve clarity and usability
- Occasionally contribute to technical documentation updates
- Work with tools such as Figma, Git, and Markdown (docs-as-code environment)
- Simplify complex cloud concepts for a technical B2B audience
- Support content scalability and translation quality
ABOUT YOU
HARDSKILLS :
- 5+ years of experience in UX Writing, Technical Writing, or Product Content Design
- Experience working on complex digital products, ideally in cloud computing, SaaS, or technical B2B environments
- Strong ability to simplify technical concepts into clear user-facing content
- Hands-on experience with Figma, Git, and Markdown (docs-as-code approach appreciated)
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
SOFTSKILLS :
- Autonomous and able to lead content topics across stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
- Structured and detail-oriented mindset
- Critical thinking and ability to challenge product wording constructively
- Technical curiosity and willingness to deepen cloud knowledge
