Role Overview

Datadog is seeking a Product Designer II to lead the end-to-end design of their User Assistant Agent, a generative AI-powered tool for natural language interaction and insight surfacing within the Datadog platform. This role involves creating intuitive and novel user experiences across various platforms, including desktop, mobile, and communication tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and design to understand customer needs and workflows.
• Own the end-to-end design process, including sketching, prototyping, testing, and production delivery.
• Develop intuitive interaction designs and leverage strong prototyping skills using tools like Figma.
• Apply research methodologies and design best practices to enhance AI experiences.
• Communicate design work and decisions effectively to internal teams and the wider company.
• Create and maintain a Figma UI Toolkit for conversational experiences and collaborate with engineers on component library maintenance.
