About VaultN VaultN is building the games industry’s fastest-growing digital distribution platform, powering many of the world’s leading publishers. Our commercial infrastructure connects distribution, payments, marketing, and data- unifying a long-fragmented industry through technology, automation, and intelligence.
Backed by global investors including Sony Innovation Fund and London Venture Partners, VaultN is at the stage where the people who join today will shape how games are sold and distributed worldwide for years to come.
The next chapter needs real design maturity. You are joining not to maintain what exists, but to define the UX architecture, standards, and governance that let Product, Engineering, and our AI tooling build coherent, on-brand experiences at speed. We're looking for a next-generation UX designer who is also strong in UI, systems-minded, and genuinely understands our platform - someone who can turn ideas into fast, high-fidelity prototypes, test them with our industry-leading clients, and iterate quickly while cleaning up our existing UX patterns.
Role OverviewVaultN is moving Design upstream, away from producing bespoke UI feature-by-feature and toward owning UX architecture and governance. AI-assisted prototyping and engineering now let Product and Engineering move from requirements to working software very quickly; the remaining bottleneck is UX decision-making and alignment. In this role, you'll own the UX principles, interaction standards, and design-system governance that let Product, Engineering, and our AI tooling build coherent, on-brand experiences with less bespoke design work required. You'll work upstream in the product process, bringing UX thinking into product definition early, defining reusable interaction patterns, and reviewing AI-generated prototypes and shipped features for usability and consistency. This is a senior, systems-level role: expect to spend some time producing individual Figma designs and more time setting the standards, documentation, and guardrails that make good UX the default output of a much faster product process.
Key Responsibilities:Own UX principles and interaction standards across the product.Lead information architecture and design for complex workflows.Govern the design system, keeping it consistent and scalable as the product grows.Define and maintain reusable UX patterns and rules for common product scenarios, such as forms, tables, modals, and permissions.Provide early UX input during product definition, shaping requirements before prototyping begins.Set and uphold accessibility and usability standards.Review AI-generated prototypes for UX quality and consistency with established patterns.Conduct design QA on implemented functionality to ensure it matches intended UI/UX.Run user validation research where appropriate to test and refine design decisions.Document UX decisions and rationale so they can be reused by Product, Engineering, and our AI tooling.

Qualifications:Demonstrable experience as a senior Product Designer or UX Designer, ideally in a fast-moving SaaS, Fintech, or transactional business.Strong systems thinking, with proven experience defining and governing design systems, interaction standards, and reusable UX patterns rather than focusing primarily on UI production.Comfortable challenging Product on workflows and requirements, with the confidence to push back when something doesn't serve the user.Ability to work directly and closely with Engineering, with a solid understanding of component-based frontend architecture.Hands-on experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools and workflows.Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards.Capability to conduct user research and validation autonomously.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including documenting decisions clearly for reuse by others.Able to work from our Amsterdam office; we're unable to offer a relocation package for this role.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Why Join VaultNThis is a newly redefined role: a smaller but higher-leverage Design function where you provide the UX architecture and guardrails that let Product, Engineering, and AI execute quickly without sacrificing product coherence. The standards, patterns, and documentation you build will directly shape how intuitive our products feel, how quickly Frontend can move from prototype to shipped feature, and how consistent VaultN's UX stays as we scale. You'll join a team where ownership is real, processes are still being built, and a good idea can become how we work next week. We're small enough that what you build will matter, and big enough that the design challenge is genuinely interesting to solve.
What We OfferSalary range 5,000 – 6000 EUR gross per month.
