Key Responsibilities

  • Define interaction patterns for agentic AI from status updates to results
  • Design experiences where AI and human judgment collaborate naturally
  • Produce short-horizon vision work and prototypes to guide the team
  • Raise product craft and coherence as engineering velocity increases
  • Work directly in code to provide last-mile polish on interactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex procurement needs

Requirements Snapshot

  • Over five years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or complex workflows
  • Broad capabilities across visual design, interaction design, and product thinking
  • Ability to build runnable prototypes that go beyond Figma
  • Comfort working directly in code to tweak interactions before shipping
  • Experience using AI tools for research, ideation, and prototyping workflows

Expected Impact

By designing clear and reliable interaction patterns for agentic AI, you will ensure that powerful automation features are adopted and deliver real value to non-technical users. Job Description

About The Role

This is a Senior/Staff Product Designer role on a small, tight-knit design team building AI-powered procurement software for industrial companies. You'll define how agentic AI capabilities surface for non-technical procurement professionals — making automation feel trustworthy, transparent, and genuinely useful. Clear, reliable design is what determines whether powerful AI features actually get adopted and deliver real value.

What You'll Do

Define interaction patterns for agentic AI — from "the agent is working" to "here's what it found."Design experiences where AI and human judgment collaborate naturally, not compete. Produce short-horizon vision work (3–6 months) as prototypes and tangible artifacts to guide the team. Raise product craft and coherence as engineering velocity and feature output increase. Work directly in code for last-mile polish — checking out PRs and tweaking interactions before shipping. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to translate procurement complexity into usable experiences.

What We're Looking For

5–10+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work, ideally in B2B SaaS, complex workflows, or data-heavy products. Broad capabilities across visual design, interaction design, product thinking, and prototyping — a generalist "block shape" rather than a single-specialty T-shape. Ability to prototype beyond Figma — building runnable prototypes that communicate intent and real behavior. Comfortable working directly in code for last-mile polish (e.g., checking out PRs, tweaking interactions). Thoughtful, considered opinions on how AI should appear in products — with a focus on trust, transparency, and appropriate automation. At ease with ambiguity and capable of inventing new patterns for novel problems. Regular user of AI tools (e.g., generative AI assistants, AI-powered coding tools) as part of your research, ideation, and prototyping workflow. Bonus: experience designing for non-technical users in complex B2B domains, or prior work with agentic or autonomous AI features.
