Job Description

Brief info about Vinted

Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:

Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.

Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.

Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.

Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people.

Information about the position

IMPORTANT - this role is initially offered as a 24-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension depending on business needs.

We see design as a crucial element of achieving our mission, so designers are represented at all levels, including senior leadership. As our new Senior Product Designer, you will be empowered to concentrate on design solutions for people’s needs. The design organisation is well established and our impact is highly valued. That means you will be able to fully focus on your contribution to our success.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our Security domain. The team works to keep Vinted safe and trusted without compromising the member experience. This work goes beyond preventing fraud and abuse: you’ll also shape a new, high-impact member-facing experience that broadens how people can safely access and use Vinted.

As a Senior Product Designer in Security, you’ll own complex, ambiguous product problems from discovery through delivery, turning questions around trust, access, and protection into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, data analysts, content designers, and other designers, balancing strong safeguards with clarity and ease for millions of members.

In this position, you’ll

  • Work with cross-functional partners to be the voice of our members, define problems and goals, map flows, prototype interactions, and support the development process.
  • Own complex product work end to end, from framing the right problem and defining the experience architecture through prototyping, implementation, launch, and iteration.
  • Use AI-assisted building tools to turn ideas into working experiences, test assumptions early, and accelerate delivery, while critically assessing their output and knowing when human judgement is essential.
  • Partner up with other domain designers to work on initiatives that keep raising design quality and user-centeredness maturity.
  • Conduct usability tests to assess and validate design ideas and collaborate with User Researchers on discovery and generative studies.
  • Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-functional partners.
  • Be part of our Security domain and report to the Product Design Director.

About you

  • Strong proven experience (typically 5+ years) designing complex web or native mobile products and taking them from ambiguous problem spaces through implementation, launch, and measurable outcomes.
  • Interaction design, visual design and evaluative user research skills.
  • Good at working with complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good understanding of the design process, designing with qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • A strong collaborator with cross-functional peers.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted prototyping or building tools to create, test, and ship working product experiences.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strategic impact, complex problem-solving, and proof of shipping, including your personal contribution, delivery trade-offs, collaboration through implementation, and what changed after launch.
  • Experience contributing code-based prototypes or pull requests within an engineering workflow is a plus.

Work perks

  • The opportunity to benefit from our share options programme
  • 25 working days of holiday
  • Access to all the tools & tech needed for work
  • Home office support: we provide IT workstation equipment and a personal budget of up to €540 for home workplace furniture
  • Private health insurance
  • Pension plan with flexible contribution options and a matching contribution from Vinted

  • In Vilnius office: gym & in-house meals at friendly prices
