Senior Product Designer (AIR) at Jetbrains

The role

JetBrains is seeking a Product Designer for Air, a new agentic development environment where AI agents and developers collaborate in parallel. You will lead design initiatives for native desktop and web experiences to make AI-integrated software development feel natural and efficient.

What you'll do

• Design high-quality user interfaces using wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Lead large-scale design initiatives from initial strategy to final execution
• Partner with product managers and researchers to define user goals
• Communicate design decisions clearly to ensure team alignment
• Collaborate with developers to implement and review UI solutions
• Develop and maintain the design system for visual consistency

What you'll bring

• At least five years of professional experience in UI/UX design
• Proven ability to design complex functional interfaces for technical products
• Strong prototyping skills and the ability to justify design decisions
• Proficiency in spoken and written English for daily communication
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities
