Sr. Motion Designer at Glance

The role

This role is for an elite motion designer at Glance AI responsible for defining the kinetic signature of an AI-powered lockscreen discovery platform. You will use motion to reduce cognitive friction and establish system responsiveness for a global user base of over 235 million active users.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain a unified motion language and physics engine across mobile surfaces
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams from the initial ideation phase
• Develop scalable motion principles and reusable asset packages for product teams
• Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes to test real-world feel and responsiveness
• Translate motion paths into production code in partnership with Android engineers
• Mentor junior designers and represent the studio motion innovation externally

What you'll bring

• Professional portfolio featuring interactive prototyping and shipped UI animation
• Expertise in kinetic physics including easing curves and spatial tracking
• Advanced proficiency with After Effects Figma Principle or ProtoPie
• Strong technical communication skills for defining behavior to engineering partners
• Experience with Android OS gestures and code-exportable animation pipelines
