Strengthen technical core competencies and develop new technologies and products in the field of fluid handling system.

  • Lead design control in concept and product development.
  • Lead the Design-for-Manufacturing process and implementation in CAD (3D-modelling and drawing).
  • Plan, perform, and document technical part of exploratory pre-development projects.
  • Plan, perform, and document workstreams to strengthen technical core competencies.
  • Execute and support product development projects with technical expertise and investigations.
  • Prepare technical documentation (specification, implementation, verification, validation) in accordance with the product development process.
  • Define, request and assess design verification reports (including metrology reports and mechanical testing).
  • Coordination with external development partners and suppliers.
  • Discover new technologies for product-, and process-related innovations for the strategic business segments Adhesives, Dental, and Healthcare.
  • Observe market and new product developments in the strategic business segments Dental, Industry, and Surgery.
  • Support internal stakeholders (Sales, Product Management, Quality, Operations, etc.) with technical and product related expertise.

Qualifications

Qualifications/ Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, Subject: Mechanical Engineering or comparable

Necessary competence (e.g. professional, technical):

  • Experience and enjoyment of conceptual development
  • product development of plastic products (min 5 years)
  • CAD skills 
  • open minded, positive, self-organizing
  • Systematic, creative, and innovative problem-solving skills
  • technical project management

Preferred competence:

  • CAD skills with Siemens NX
  • toolmaking (injection molding)
  • medical or dental devices or packaging or consumables
  • automation technology
  • simulation technology or Self-executed simulations (structural, flow, process)
  • electrical engineering
  • tolerance calculations
  • “GPS-drawings”

 Language: German and English spoken and written
