Role Overview

As a Senior Design and MEP Manager, you will deliver retrofit, refurbishment, and alteration projects across HelloFresh’s international distribution center portfolio. You will combine strong project management capabilities with deep MEP and architectural expertise. This role ensures operational upgrades, capacity expansions, and compliance modifications are delivered safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical and project delivery partner for retrofit, refurbishment, and alteration projects.
• Support Project Managers in defining scope, phasing, and execution strategies.
• Manage and steer the MEP and architectural design process for alterations, upgrades, and extensions.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between internal stakeholders and external consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate design reviews and technical decision-making, ensuring alignment with operational needs and budget.
• Proactively identify technical risks typical to brownfield projects and drive mitigation strategies.

Requirements Snapshot

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
• Have 5–7+ years in MEP or building services design, ideally with industrial or food production exposure.
• Demonstrate proven experience managing alterations, upgrades, and brownfield projects.
• Show strong understanding of industrial MEP systems, particularly HVAC, cooling, and energy systems.
• Be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
