Job Description

Senior Creative Marketing Strategist
Borough, South London (SE1 1EP)

Worldwide Events Group

Worldwide Events Group, founded in 2004, is a recognised leader in global MICE and luxury travel. Across our portfolio, we bring people together and facilitate meaningful relationships, a philosophy we call H2H, human‑to‑human connection. Innovation drives our evolution. We’re embracing AI to elevate personalisation, streamline event design and create smarter, more intuitive experiences for our global communities.

Our work is delivered through two industry‑leading brands, each serving a distinct global community.

M&I

M&I brings together high-calibre meeting planners and exhibitors from the hospitality industry through a series of standout events across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Our portfolio includes M&I Expo, M&I Flagship, M&I Healthcare, and M&I Luxe. We create beautifully crafted events that spark meaningful engagement, from curated 1-2-1 meetings to immersive moments that showcase exceptional destinations, hotels, venues and MICE services. Our events take place across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East in some of the world's most extraordinary destinations.

Private Luxury Events: Expect the Extraordinary

Private Luxury Events delivers world‑class experiences to the luxury travel community through its event brands Amour, Private Luxury, TFest and Ultra. Our ethos has always been to put the human experience first. This mantra has powered some of the most respected events in the industry, inspiring thousands of luxury travel professionals around the world and at the heart of everything we do lies a passion for connecting people.

The Engagement

This engagement covers turning existing strategic and product thinking for a new customer experience initiative into a clear enterprise proposition and distinctive creative direction.

The initiative is a major part of how Worldwide Events is evolving its customer experience and market positioning and supports our wider ambition to become an adaptive events company. The opportunity is bigger than launching a new event product. This is not primarily a product marketing or delivery role. We need someone who can operate across brand, positioning, proposition and creative strategy.

You'll collaborate with a network of experienced, passionate specialists who have delivered hundreds of events worldwide and bring creativity, precision and purpose to their work.

Scope of Services & Deliverables

This engagement includes:

  • Shaping one clear enterprise story for the product: what it is, why it matters and how it is different.
  • Centring that story on the individual, their relationships and the experience, rather than a list of product features.
  • Setting a distinctive visual and verbal direction that brings the story to life.
  • Defining clear messaging and marketing principles that lead with the experience, using features only as evidence for the bigger story.
  • Building a consistent foundation that our brands and marketing teams can apply across marketing, product introduction, onboarding and the wider participant experience.
  • Producing practical implementation guidance for internal marketing teams, including recommended messaging frameworks, content updates, customer journey applications and priority actions required to embed the new proposition consistently across existing strategies, campaigns and customer-facing materials.

This engagement is best suited to a Senior Creative Marketing Strategist contractor who brings:

  •  Senior experience across creative strategy, brand strategy and proposition development.
  • Proven ability to turn complex ideas into a simple, compelling customer story.
  • Track record of leading with the experience and the “why”, rather than defaulting to feature-led marketing.
  • Experience developing a strong positioning and creative platform from which others can execute.
  • Confidence connecting brand, proposition, visual identity, messaging and customer experience.
  • Fresh external thinking, combined with the ability to build on work already completed.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience-led marketing or brand transformation experience.
  • Events-sector experience is helpful, but strategic and creative calibre matters more.
  • Day Rate: Competitive, depending on experience.
  • Duration: c. 10 days, ideally starting on Monday, 12 October 2026. Timing is flexible, and we'd value your input on the shape of the work.

How to Apply

We review submissions on a rolling basis and will close this engagement once we've confirmed the right fit for the scope of services. To avoid disappointment, apply via the button shown.
