Job Description
- Responsible for BIM & CAD DESIGN tasks as directed by the Engineer.
- Undertaking structural modelling and detailing on global projects using REVIT & AutoCAD.
- Develop Bridge models in Revit (from scratch).
- Prepare Bridge drawings in AutoCAD.
- Review and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Creation and editing of drawings & sketches in compliance with AECOM Standards.
- Develop RC intent drawings.
- Prepare and modify 3D BIM models for development of federated models.
- Maintaining regular communication with client/lead region/project lead for understand the client’s requirements for qualitative and timely delivery.
- Liaising with the team manager/(s) to keep informed of all developments associated with the project.
- Providing guidance to the project team, leading a qualitative and client-focused culture.
Qualifications
- Recognized Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 6 to10 years relevant experience in Structural Engineering modelling and detailing.
- Proven experience & sound knowledge in bridges.
- Proven experience in 3D modelling using tools like Revit Structures & AutoCAD.
- Ability to create custom families and templates to enhance BIM workflows.
- Must be experienced in ProjectWise, BIM 360/ACC.
- Strong understanding on structural engineering is mandatory.
- Must be proactive and should maintain professionalism.
- Understanding of construction phasing and sequencing for complex projects.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English language and good command of technical English terminology.
- Experienced in working towards tight deadlines focusing on the quality of product.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices, including ISO 19650 or COBie.
