Senior Design Release Engineer - Chassis Steering

Role Overview

This role is responsible for the complete engineering lifecycle of new steering systems, encompassing design, development, validation, and production release. The position also involves leading project execution from an operational perspective, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, design, and develop new Steering Systems.
• Validate, time, and release new Steering Systems for production.
• Support the development and maintenance of chassis structure components.
• Lead project execution from an operational standpoint.
• Work independently or as part of a small team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient use of company resources.

Requirements Snapshot

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 2+ years of engineering development and production release experience in steering systems OR 3-5 years in suspension/chassis systems.
• Experience in component/system design, development, and validation for steering systems.
• 5 years of steering-specific experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
