This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Netflix, Canva, Foot Locker, Philips & Biscoff. 

JOB PURPOSE

As a Senior Account Manager of our Creative services, you are responsible for establishing and maintaining the best possible relationships with our clients and you will be able to grow the revenue (for DEPT® and the client) of the accounts based on the best consultative advice. You will work closely with our expert Creative and Design teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Account Directors in developing go-to-market strategies, new service propositions, and with pitches
  • Know how to convince clients to work with us
  • Utilise your sales experience, and build solid relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Maintain a full understanding of the clients’ business, strategies, objectives, brand, audiences, and challenges, advising on the communications solution that best meets their needs, with the objective to becoming a trusted adviser
  • Build excellent working relationships with key clients – by attending regular meetings, video conference calls, planning sessions, briefing meetings, and participating in evaluation reviews
  • Ensure success criteria are met and projects are delivered to time and to budget
  • Work with the team to determine and test creatives across client owned channels

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a consultative selling role with a focus on digital marketing, preferably at a digital agency;
  • Have a passion for digital marketing, know how to convince others with your sales talent, and have the ability to give clients the best possible advice
  • Have great communication skills (verbally and written) and the ability to persuade;
  • Have experience working on pitches;
  • Are ambitious, results-oriented and know how to plan and organise;
  • Are fluent in English, and preferably also fluent in Dutch.
